VEN Policies

This set of policies is designed to give all members of the Virtual Private Network (VPN) a common set of guidelines which outline the operational requirements for software, hardware and network connections. It is recognised that these are evolving policies and that the speciications may change from time to time, as dictated by the requirements of members and the technological infrastructure that supports the VPN.

Mandatory Security Waiver

From time to time requests are recieved for security work to be done that is outside the standard operational requirements of the VPN. VEN and Telecom require that any security work which is ouside the standard operational requirements be authorised by the principal of the school. A school will be notified if this security waiver is required.
