Shortly Telecom SchoolZone will be offering a new range of filtering categories in a Service Pack upgrade. The aim of this survey was to see which categories schools would like blocked by default. The standard filter block list is based on these results. Clicking on the category name will display a pop-up window defining what this category covers, or you can see the complete list here. If you would like to see how a particular site is categorised in the new filtering groups then please visit the Secure Computing web site and enter the URL that you would like to check. It is possible that a site may not be categorised into one of the categories below. Regardless of the choices made by all schools, individual schools will still be able to over ride the filtering categories for their school or individual groups or users within their school using the SINA Administration tool.
